Desde o lançamento do jailbreak para o iPhone OS 3.0, muitos usuários têm reclamado que não recebem as notificações instantâneas (push) dos aplicativos compatíveis. A princípio se imaginou que isso seria uma falha do próprio método de desbloqueio, mas parece que o buraco é mais embaixo.Segundo um desenvolvedor tcheco, esse problema é originado não de uma falha do jailbreak, mas sim de um bloqueio da própria Apple, através de seus servidores de nuvem. Ela assim impediria que o push funcionassem em aparelhos que não foram ativados por uma operadora oficial (os chamados hacktivated). Ou seja, o problema não deve afetar os brasileiros que realizaram o jailbreak mas que possuem contrato com Claro, Vivo e TIM. Para que as notificações funcionem, o desenvolvedor precisa ter um servidor próprio para o sistema, mas antes do aviso chegar aos aparelhos ele ainda passa pelos servidores da Apple, que se ocupa de distribuir a todos os dispositivos inscritos no serviço. Ainda não é possível afirmar se isso foi um ato intencional da Apple ou se é devido à maneira como o serviço funciona.

English translation:
Since the release of the jailbreak for iPhone OS 3.0, many users have complained about not receiving instant notifications (push) applications compatible.
